Brenda Wilkes – Health Center Manager

Brenda has been in the nursing field for more than 35 years.  She started her health care career as an LPN in Virginia and immediately found her niche in primary care.  She achieved her goal of becoming a Registered Nurse in 2015 and continued to develop her leadership skills in primary care, managing a large medical group in Virginia with multiple facilities.  Her career also led her to bedside nursing, providing direct patient care in a medical surgical unit at a small community hospital for several years.  Brenda briefly worked in Population Health as a Disease Management Coordinator/RN, helping at risk patients manage their chronic illnesses, prior to coming on board with Premise Health in December of 2023.  Brenda has always focused on trying to make a difference in the lives of others, by being supportive and nurturing.  She always strives to empower her patients, friends and family members alike to learn, make better decisions and set personal goals.  Her spare time is usually spent with family, traveling or working in her garden and yard where she tries to nurture plants to grow and thrive.
